Well with the painting on the table done it was time to start Assembly. Only annoying thing is the bottom of the steering yoke is not yet powder coated so the bloody thing will have to come apart yet again at some stage.
I'm hoping to get the bike rolling right before I start popping back in the engine. As you can see she has the front brake but not the back as yet as I'm waiting for the drum brake rod to come back.

Tank
Good day again,
I'm feeling alot more positive about this project today! Whoop whoop!
I do need a fuel tank, This is the one I have.
Its so rusty inside it can't be saved really. I have no idea what bike its from apart from it being an old kawasaki motorcrosser.
I was thinking of a sportster tank or a BSA tank or some thing.
Has any one got a tank they want sell me that is rust free on the inside... and remember i'm poor

ok here we go
I've been pottering away in the shed but don't seem to be making much progress.
Any ways both wheels are now done and looking great. My mock up electrics box is giving me lots of issues at the mo.
So her she is at the mo, The seat is not bolted on as I need to weld the front bracket mount to the frame. I'm also a little concerned about the seat wheel clearance, as you can see its pretty close. Originally I wanted the top of the rear wheel higher than the seat but I guess my frame was just not wide enough.
Ad you can see the leccy box is in but not held all that firm which is a worry.
The tank is way beyond use, there is so much rust inside. I've researched ways of lining it but I think I need a new one.
I've also made up a rear light and number plate bracket, but again it doesn't have that sturdy feel to it so that need more work.
And here is the front.
The bike is getting there but slowly now. The front end feels sloppy and the clutch arm is lose and i have no idem about the rear brake lever.
We'll get there I'm sure

Final frame updates
Another trip to my Dads on sunny Sunday morning and we get the last of the frame mods finished.
I now have a stand lug and a fuel tank mount ready for the powder coaters....
But wait I totally forgot to put the drum brake stay in place! Whoops.
